As Reported R&D expense
Conor MacNeil
Hi there, it's possible because the FA section is standardized data, while there can be 'as reported' data in a 10-k. The 'as reported' data is found in the Actuals and Consensus tab, which should match.
If you provide some examples, it would be helpful.

Has different numbers for 2024 year than what Reddit 10-k has. R&D Koyfin has 911.9M but RDDT 10-K reported 935.2M.
I understand standardization for plenty of metrics or equations but I don't really understand it on an expense line item, that's specifically listed in a 10-k. Its giving me incorrect information on where the expenses are. I don't want to have to dig through all the reports to get these individual line items. Which is why I like your service but if your not giving correct information it lowers your value.

Convincing Walrus: The R&D Reddit report in a 10-k is 'as reported' data, and it's likely there is some non-standard adjustment.
Respectfully, it's not a matter of "correctness". Accounting is an art, not a science. 100% understand that you would rather see as reported data here though.
I'll migrate this to feature requests.
