APP Applovin wrong sector

Hi the same as before when I screen for tech stocks in the Technology Sector, I get that APP belong in the communication sector but if I google it, it says that belongs to technology sector the same as fidelity it says that belongs to the technology sector, also I read online that some data vendors classify some stocks different.

Hi just one more thing a want to say, as you can see in the screenshot, every time I screen for stocks in the technology sector only, why applovin comes out if it belongs to the discretionary sector the same with NAVN, I only want to screen for Thec Stocks no discretionary, If I want to screen for discretionary I'll screen for discretionary only.

Hi Sienna Ptarmigan,
APP (AppLovin) is classified under Communication Services in our platform, based on the GICS standard.
Some other sites use their own internal classification systems instead of GICS, which is why you might see it listed under "Technology" elsewhere. This is a known discrepancy between data vendors, not an error.
