I created a custom ticker in MY PORTFOLIOS. The ticker is OBLIVIOUS with Currency = EUR. I have put in a purchase of 30000 units at price EUR 1. There's no change to the price history.

The Mkt Value shows USD 42995.34 which is weird because the Currency P&L is only -4989.05. How is this possible?

Oxblood Swan: The data in the file is 2013, I suggested to add a more recent date (March 7th 2025 for example). This should fix the issue (band aid).

We know why this issue occurs and will be fixing it. I'll move this ticket to 'in progress' when we start developing the fix.

Hey Kunal, I have a short-term solution/workaround for you which I will explain in a second. But for context, we have identified the issue here and are working on a platform-wide solution so it works as expected. 
For the workaround, can you adjust the date in the security's CSV to something recent? For example, yesterday's date, or the date of the purchase date. This should fix the issue. 
Your current security's last data point is from 2009 so it's incorrectly attributing the FX rate from that date into market value. You can see from the screenshot this is causing Market Value to be incorrect, while P/L data is fine. 
P/L correctly takes the FX rate from the purchase date, while the market value is searching for a 'last available price' and this is back in 2009... we are going to correct the logic so that it front-fills to today's date and corrects this for you.
