Should be able to right click on column and then select filter by column rather than having to manually add the item as a filter

Hey David, we don't currently have filters in watchlists or screener, so i'll merge this with a larger feature request ticket for that feature.

Conor MacNeil Maybe the wrong word; but the criteria you have in screener I would call a filter; that's what I meant

Watchlist Search and Filtering

It would be great to be able to search not only in tickers and names, but also within custom text fields. For example, I often use custom text columns to add tags, comments, or criteria. It would be incredibly helpful if the search function could pick those up as well.
In addition, it would be great to introduce column-specific filtering—similar to how filters work in Excel. This would mean:
• For numeric columns: options like greater than, less than, between, etc.
• For text columns (including custom ones): simple text-based filters like “contains,” “starts with,” or “matches exactly.”

using a watchlist as universe input in a screener

i tried using the filters/custom filters in the watchlist, however the screener options are so much better and provide much more convenient options. it would be great to use a watchlist as an universe input for a screener!

I also miss the filters in the watchlist. I have a large watchlist used for screening functions, and I have to export the watchlist to Excel to work with the watchlist that introduces a lot of disturbances and opportunities for mistakes that could have been avoided if the filtering could be done in the watchlist.

Creative Cheetah: Hey Ralph, what kind of filters would you use in a watchlist regularly?

Add "sort by market cap" to watchlist view.

It would be great to add market cap categories to the watchlist view similar to what you have for sectors, countries, & etc. We often dump a lot of ideas on there and it'd be nice to be able to temporarily exclude companies below a certain threshold without going through the trouble of creating a new watchlist.

When we create multiple groups in a watch list , adding filters on few columns will really help us in Day to Day trading
