Cash Question

Plum Wildcat
Good Morning, Is there any way to screen for cash position relative to enterprise value or market cap? What I see shows cash position but doesn't adjust for size of company.
Conor MacNeil
Hi Travis, there is not currently a way to screen for cash as a % of market cap or enterprise value.
Instead, you could screen for market cap of enterprise value bands, as well as other screener metrics you wish to use.
Following this, you can create a custom formula for cash / market cap, and then sort the table by that metric.

Hi Travis, You can add Market Cap and Enterprise Value as filter criteria to your screen, as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you please let us know if this answers your question, or if there’s anything else we can assist you with?

It would be amazing if we could chart custom formulas over historical periods.

Arithmetic operations + - x / in comparison chart for 2 stocks

It would be really great to do Arithmetic operations on 2 different stock to get a chart.
Like Stock A: P/S Divided by Stock B : P/S.
Like this will help us determine a stock undervalue or overvalue according to other stock.

Would be nice to be able to not just view custom formula as a column, but screen by it as well

Would be very helpful to allow charting of any custom formulas. Right now only limited to watchlist. Would be great if any custom fields would appear in G Charting Tool

Self-made variables

Being able to create variables yourself would be a big plus.
Example: Sales and operating income data are available in Koyfin. Together, we can make that the operating margin, by being given the freedom to divide operating income by turnover and creating a new line for that in the Financial Analysis tab.
Of course, I know that the operating margin has been available for a long time to use it yourself, but it's about the principle.
This gives users even more freedom to extract relevant insights from the available data.

Hi Koan, you can do this using Custom Formulas: https://www.koyfin.com/help/custom-formulas/

Systematic Barracuda
Thanks Conor MacNeil, but I don't think it's possible to use this in the Financial Analysis tab, right?
It would be nice if it could be used there too.
Conor MacNeil
Systematic Barracuda No, i'ts not. I have merged this request into a larger request for using Custom Formulas in FA.

Custom formulas in FA section

Hi I would like to create a formula in the Financial Analysis section to see the historical evolution of different ratios not currently calculated by Koyfin. Is there a way to do it? It would be an extremely helpful feature.
