Historical positions in model portfolio (securities that have since had corporate actions)
Hello, when adding my positions historically to my model portfolio I noticed that I could not add securities that have since merged or had corporate actions. This prevents me from having accurate history since I cannot add the position. Do you plan on adding functionality so that users can add historical positions that are now not traded? Examples are Activision Blizzard and Pioneer which my portfolio had significant positions 2 years ago. When using tools like Bloomberg and Factset they allow for users to add these positions and even automatically convert to the new ticker when corporate actions occur. Thanks

Does Koyfin keep historical performance for delisted stocks?

We have a few model portfolios we'd like to import, but they have tickers that have since been delisted - how do we upload these to Koyfin and make sure the data is correct?

Hey Michael, basically you are asking for delisted security data. This will help improve accuracy of models and eliminate some survivorship bias. Introducing this data would also make a legitimate backtesting engine possible as well, which is something i've considered.
This covers corporate actions, delistings, bankruptcy, etc.
This would be a feature request because we don't have this data. But... it's something we want to have in the system eventually. I don't have a timeline for you, but it's something we discuss often.

Thanks, I definitely think this is something users would expect when looking at historical positions.
