Fund Comparison Feature - ETF Compare / Overlap

We have the holding matrix in MP but would love to be able to have a tab on the app to allow us to enter individual funds to quickly see overlap numbers.
I currently use ETFRC to do this. https://www.etfrc.com/funds/overlap.php

Comparing ETFs to other ETFs or a benchmark on a holdings basis

Right now much of the ETF functionality focuses on analyzing a single ETF at the holdings level. It would be nice to expand this functionality to comparing an ETF to a benchmark or another ETF (or even multiple) on a holdings basis. This includes things like sector and industry weights, holdings overlap, and heck while were at even some form of attribution!
Additionally on the holdings page it would be great to be able to click through each industry and sector and see the underlying constituents that make up that industry or sector. And on the holdings list be able to sort and filter by industry/sector. Thanks!

Comparing 2 or more funds in snapshot

It would be great if I could pull up Fund A in snapshot and see the exposure/holdings/overlap etc. But then also be able to add a ticker to instantly compare 2 or more funds side by side in that same area or in another tab to see similar details side by side. I am always going back and forth between tickers there but it would be helpful to do it on 1 screen.

Is it possible to look at holdings overlap (in % of AUM) between two or more ETFs?

Is there a way to compare security overlap in two etfs?

Hey Scott, not directly, but I will migrate this to feature requests.

holdings matrix for funds snapshot

Can we get the holdings matrix info from MP as a tab under the snapshot section for ETF/MFs?
Conor MacNeil
Hey Shahram, the holdings matrix is for fund overlap, a holdings matrix for a single fund would just show it's holdings in the table.
Did you want the ability to add other funds as comparables?
F
Fuchsia Armadillo
Conor MacNeil sorry I could have worded that better but yes. I was wanting to be able to quickly add another fund to check overlap without having to go in and create a new MP. I currently go in to MP to get the comparison data for holdings, sectors etc.

Fuchsia Armadillo: Got you, I notice you have made this request in the past. It is on our roadmap.

Since you have all the etf and mutual fund holding against the stock, I would like to have the shares held by the "etf", "mutual fund", and "region"(based on ISIN).

A function that can show the total overlap (X%) in terms of weights between two or more ETFs? i.e. SMH has X% overlap with QQQ and Y% overlap with XLK. This function would be super helpful in avoiding buying overly similar ETFs.
