Is there any way to obtain the holdings weights of an ETF from a past date? As far as I see it, it is only possible to show the current holdings and their weights.

I don't know about the historical weights but if you want to check the sector weights of the major indexes you can select one of the big ETF's like SPY in the security analysis. Go to snapshots holdings and you have the current sector weights. Hope this helps
