Hi folks, by means of an update. We are nearing the completion of this large project. I will share some update below.
First, we have an active beta open now, available for Schwab, IBKR, TradePMR, Black Diamond, Altruist, and Orion. If you would like to be part of this beta, please contact conor.macneil@koyfin.com and we can set you up.
We have also implemented a series of quality of life improvements related to Client Portfolios, such as follows:
- Daily Sync will automatically update accounts at the end of each night.
- You may manually update accounts between automated syncs with a manual sync function.
- Daily Sync will also import all of your accounts, meaning the manual import is no longer necessary.
- We have introduced an improved search experience for the CP homepage, as well as an expand/collapse function on the table.
- In the column picker, under Asset Specific ➝ Integrations, you will now find columns for each integration, meaning you can display more granular details on the accounts such as account status, tax status, and so on.
Some final hurdle improvements we are working on right now before a full release of Daily Sync, expected to go live later in Q1.
- We are close to releasing support for two new integrations, Fidelity and Addepar. We will follow up by supporting both of these integrations with the daily sync functionality.
- We are working to introduce bulk movement of accounts and portfolios in the client portfolio table, to make organisation easier.
- We are going to introduce a function that lets you combine portfolios together to create a single portfolio.
- When moving accounts or portfolios, we are going to introduce a function to let you create a portfolio or household to move those items into during the move flow, instead of having to create those destinations before moving items.
- We've had feedback that the names of accounts can sometimes be difficult, with, for example, several accounts having the same name. To tackle this we are going to append names with additional context (such as account type, IRA, Rollover, etc) to help make identification easier.
Overall, this has been a huge undertaking and we are nearing the end of this project. Beta testing thus far has shown what an impact this has had, leading to significant quality of life enhancements, and I am looking forward to closing the book on this functionality and making it available for all of our advisors.

For those interested, I will share some updates on how we are progressing with this project to support daily syncing of integration accounts. The TLDR is that we are approaching the light at the end of the tunnel.
This functionality represented a monumental build. We have developed a new model/architecture to support such a large scale of daily automated syncing. This was important not only to support current demands on the system, but to future-proof it and make it scalable as Koyfin continues to grow.
The "plumbing" for this functionality has been created. We are now in the process of (a) adding the complimentary visual aspects of daily sync (the UI) and (b) testing this in production with a small subset of users to iron out kinks. We will gradually be inviting more users to participate in a beta.
The current focus is to scale this beta to more and more users, across different integration partners, continue to monitor and test for issues, and eventually roll this out to everyone. We are now at the home straight phase.
Our initial feedback sessions with beta users have helped us understand that there are a few quality of life improvements to be made. Things such as improving the search experience, supporting the bulk movement of accounts and portfolios, and supplying the homepage table for client portfolios with more meta-data on the accounts. These improvements, which are underway, will help organisation, identification, and movement of accounts. There are more improvements we plan to make too.
Thank you for your patience here. We appreciate it has been some time since we embarked on this journey.

Kind of makes the whole Advisor subscription a useless time sink unless accounts update overnight.
Conor MacNeil
Fun Dolphin: Mark, we are working on this with our highest priority. Hopefully be shipped soon to all Advisor plans.

The sooner the better. All of my Schwab portfolios are very stale. I am tired deleting and re-adding them every day!
Conor MacNeil
Gorgeous Marsupial: We hear you. Working on this now, hopefully you'll never have to touch an import account button ever again.
The plan is to automate the daily syncing of accounts, which will honour the structure you have created in Koyfin (e.g households, etc).
