Watchlist - ETF Sector Incorrect Grouping

Team, in my watchlists, the ETFs are grouped in "financials" sector instead of their real sectors. For instance, XLU is grouped under Financials rather than Utilities. Is that by design? Because, it is definitely breaking the correct grouping and comparison. Could you have a look please, and thanks in advance!

My sector etf data shows that every sector ETF is in the financial sector

Hi Shahram, migrating from bugs channel as this isn't a bug.
The sector for all ETFs in our system is financials.

Hey Evren, historically we had grouped them this way by design because this was the data we had available for ETFs.
More recently, since we added new data vendors, we have the ability to "look through" funds in some parts of the platform. For example, in a model portfolio, if you hold 100% of SPY, we break out all of the data and analytics of the underlying holdings instead of just for the ETF.
Put differently, that portfolio would have sector exposure that looks like this (image) instead of 100% financials. This is just for US ETFs at the moment.
There is a bit more work to do for us to alter this in watchlists and other tables, but wanted to drop a note to give you some context on why this is the case, and that it's not a bug (because it's by design) but rather something we hope to improve in the future.

Conor MacNeil Thanks Conor. I understand. Also, even now it's possible to group. The extensive data dimensions in the platform is helping tons. Thanks again!

By the way, I worked around by adding "ETF Focus" grouping, which corrected the grouping, not by sector, but by the focus type of the ETF.
