You can set individual graph templates to be the default when clicking a ticker.
Set the historical G command to default graph template, then set the template to whichever template you desire.

Basic Galliform
That would be pretty useful - for me it defaults to "unsaved template" which is pretty annoying especially if you want to chart something.... Then the charts disappear the next time you open the Historical Graph.
