1) Many times the data presentation would be cleaner without decimal numbers - ex. $4.046 billion is easier consumed as $4 billion, etc.

2) Would be great to standardize values, particularly in tables. Insider ownership of $827.89M is FAR DIFFERENT from $444.39K. Standardizing to $827.9M and $0.4M would make the magnitudes much easier to digest.
